Please find our simple terms and conditions detailed below, and do not hesitate to contact us in case of any query. When you place an order with us we will treat each order for goods as an offer by you to purchase the goods subject to these terms and conditions.
Order Process
Any order is subject to acceptance by Panasonic Store Southampton, and following the receipt of any order we will send a detailed acknowledgement of all items ordered, though this is not an order acceptance. The offer will have been accepted, and the contract binding, once payment has been received by Panasonic Store Southampton, and you have received a confirmation email confirming stock availability and an estimated delivery time. If an order placed is not in stock you will be notified, and may cancel your order at any time and receive a full refund. If we inform you that we are unable to accept your order then we will arrange a full refund if payment has been received. Orders placed on Saturdays, Sundays and Bank Holidays will not be processed until the next working day. Orders placed after 12pm on Fridays with Standard Delivery will not be dispatched until the next working day.
Pricing and Payment
All prices are in UK £ sterling and are inclusive of VAT at the current rate. All products over £200 qualify for free delivery to England and Wales, which can be selected during the purchase process (additional charges may apply to regions of Scotland and other specific postcodes - please see our delivery information page). Payment can be made by any major credit/debit cards via our Paypal secure server. All credit/debit card holders are subject to validation checks and authorisation by the card issuer. If the issuer of your payment card refuses to authorise payment to us, we will not be liable for any delay or non-delivery. Ownership and title of the goods will only pass to the customer upon receipt of full payment and delivery of the item.

We are able to offer various finance options in store. These may change from time to time, and are not available online. Please visit our stores for further information.
Product Guarantee
Unfortunately even the best products can sometimes have problems, however you will receive a minimum of 12 months guarantee with any product purchased from Panasonic Store Southampton. Certain products will come with a free guarantee up to 5 years, which will be specifically detailed on each relevant products page. We also offer extended warranties on a range of products, which will be detailed on each individual product page. Any guarantee or warranty excludes faults that occur as a result of neglect, misuse or accidental damage (included on certain Domestic & General policies), and software issues. Batteries, tapes, films and other consumables are also excluded. If your product should fail within the warranty period, please see our faulty goods information below.
Delivery
Our delivery service are either undertaken by our own staff, or using UPS courier services (and sometimes private couriers). Delivery is available throughout the UK, and our standard delivery is next day (or 2-3 day delivery service for non-UK mainland locations and parts of Scotland). Please refer to our delivery page for full details. All deliveries will be door to door only and you may be required to assist the driver if necessary. A delivery is usually only to the first ground floor room or garage etc, although it is possible that some drivers will be able to take the product to a specific room though this is not normally part of their contract. In order to make a claim of transit damage against a courier, transit damaged goods must be notified within 48 hours of the delivery, and we will require photographs of the goods and the box. Should goods arrive with damaged packaging you are must sign and record this on the delivery note, and we strongly advise that you insist on checking the contents prior to signing for acceptance, as you will be otherwise signing that goods have been received in good condition.
We aim to deliver all goods on the date advised, however from time to time situations outside of our control may arise, resulting in delivery not taking place on the advised day. In such instances Panasonic Store Southampton can not accept any responsibility for loss of earnings/time, and do not provide compensation for delays in transit. We will do our best to keep you notified of any issues at all times.
Product Returns - Your Right to Cancel
Should you wish to cancel your order if you are not satisfied with your product, we operate a 7 day no quibble returns policy in accordance with your rights as a consumer. For us to collect unwanted goods, all products returned MUST be complete and contain ALL the original manuals, blank warranty cards, accessories and any other documentation included with the original shipment. The cost of collection, and any costs incurred by Panasonic Store Southampton for delivery (including delivery offered free of charge) will be deducted from any refund made to you.
If you wish to return a product within this 7 day period without the original packaging, you will need to purchase appropriate and adequate packaging yourself, and return to us via an insured courier service at your cost. Any costs incurred by Panasonic Store Southampton for delivery (including delivery offered free of charge) will be deducted from any refund made to you.
Note: goods that arrive in this manner damaged, whether by transit or not, will not be accepted for refund.
Provided that the return meets these conditions then we will give you a full refund of the returned product less any delivery/collection expenses.

Products Returns - Damaged in Transit
If any items are damaged in transit, we require that you report it to us via email to sales@panasoton.co.uk with the subject field stating ‘RMA Request - Damaged In Transit'. This must be completed within 48 hours as we will need to claim on the damage from our courier.
If the packaging of items are visibly damaged on receipt, then you should sign the couriers delivery note accordingly, goods signed for as received in good condition may not necessarily be eligible for return due to transit damage.
Please ensure you detail on your online Returns & Faults notes how the goods were signed for and whether there was any visible damage to the box when it was delivered.
Items must be ready to be returned with their original packaging complete with all accessories and documentation.
Damaged goods signed for in good condition may not be accepted for return.
Products Returns - Unwanted within 7 days of receipt
As a consumer you have the right, under the Distance Selling Regulations (EU) 2000., to cancel the contract and receive a refund for your goods if cancelled in writing within 7 days.
If you wish to return any product, we require that you report it to us via email to sales@panasoton.co.uk with the subject field stating ‘RMA Request - Unwanted within 7 days'. This must be completed within 7 days of the product being delivered to you. We will offer to collect the goods from you at your cost or you can return the goods to us yourself via an insured courier. Should goods be received back to us damaged it will be your responsibility to claim for the damage from the courier and we will not issue a refund.
Unwanted items returned for refund or exchange, for whatever reason, but within 7 days will NOT be subject to a warehouse re-stocking fee, and you will be refunded the value of the returned item less any delivery or collection charges incurred by Panasonic Store Southampton. Any item must still be in a ‘as brand new' condition, and any marking or damage of the product may result in Panasonic Store Southampton being unable to offer a refund.

Products Returns - Faulty within 14 days of receipt
If you wish to return any faulty product, we require that you report it to us via email to sales@panasoton.co.uk with the subject field stating ‘RMA Request - faulty within 14 days'. This must be completed within 14 days of the product being delivered to you. Any product returned as faulty within the first 14 days of receipt must be assessed by a manufacturer approved engineer to confirm that it is faulty. This process can take up to 5 working days from collection of the product.
Should a fault be confirmed by the manufacturer then we will offer a full refund or replacement of the product.
There is no cost to return an item that has developed a fault as this will be covered by Panasonic Store Southampton, however should no fault be discovered, you will be charged for the cost of collection and re-delivery to you, payable prior to the product being returned to you.
All original packaging should be retained for returns/refund/warranty purposes. Should you require Panasonic Store Southampton to arrange collection of a product you MUST have kept all the original packaging and accessories. If your goods develop a fault within 14 days and you have not kept the packaging you will be referred back to the manufacturer for a warranty claim.

Products Returns - Faulty after 14 days of receipt
If any product develops a fault after the first 14 days since receipt, we require that you report it to us by email at sales@panasoton.co.uk, with the subject field stating ‘RMA Request - faulty after 14 days'. Any product that develops a fault after the first 14 days since receipt of the product then provided your item is within its warranty period, you are entitled to a warranty repair.
We will either handle the servicing ourselves or direct you via one of our authorised agents. This does not apply to faults caused by accident, neglect or misuse for which there can be no refund or exchange. You may be liable for the courier costs to return the goods in the event that it has been established that the fault is a result of customer misuse, rather than a manufacturing fault.

Product specifications, images and other material published on our website have been provided by manufacturers, suppliers or relevant trade publications. It is our intention to ensure that all information displayed is accurate and up to date. However as specifications are in the most part subject to change without notification by the manufacturer we strongly advise verifying any critical specifications. Further information can be found on the manufacturer's websites to which we provide links for all our products.
Printing & Pricing Errors
In the event a product is listed at a wrong price due to a typographical (human) error or incorrect pricing information received from our suppliers, we have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed without a contract being formed. In the event of a cancelation or refusal of any order we will arrange an immediate and full refund if payment has been taken. The contract will be formed once the goods have been dispatched to the consumer.
Security
When you shop with us via our web site, all your financial transactions are entirely secure. Our secure server software encrypts all your payment card details. The process scrambles all the information, allowing no unauthorised third party to intercept the data. We also use agencies to validate each purchaser really is the legitimate card holder.
Protecting Your Security
You agree that we may use Personal information provided by you in order to conduct appropriate anti fraud checks. Personal Information that you provide may be disclosed to a credit reference or fraud prevention agency, which may keep a record of that information.
